I have sold my house, and am now revealing my 10-year homesteading plan towards my dreamhouse and retirement.Updated 1 month ago

  • Right next to Victorias
  • Water Catchment
  • Solar+Wind=Easy
  • Flooding risk:0
  • Earthquake risk very low (bedroock granite)
  • Fire risk, high

Fire Risk Mitigation:

  • Store Rainwater in many, many ponds up and down the mountain.
  • Install a standpipe so Paul's Firetruck can fill up.
  • Keep 50ft perimeter from house only short grass
  • Kill and remove all broom and ground cover
  • Steel Roof
  • Hardiboard (Concrete) Exterior
  • Internal Fire Sprinklers
  • External Fire Sprinkler(Shoot water at eaves+siding)
  • Mark all trees within 100ft to quickly cut down in 15 mins or less
