Sauna Plan

Goal:

• Infrared sauna
• Cheap
• Fits 2-4 people
• Fits through a 36" doorway. (likely modular)
• Run off two 120V plugs (seperate circuits)

Being able to pass through a doorway is critical so that it can be kept in a garage, or a spare bedroom. Will latch together.

Needs / Wants:

• Thermometer
• A small light
• A cupholder.
• Adjustable seating
• Hook for robes
• Emergency shutoff?

Notes:

• Carbon Fiber is a good black body emitter of far+long wave infrared, which penetrates inches into your body.
• It can absorb visible+near infrared, warm up, and radiate far infrared.
• It is a better emitter than ceramic.
• They both depend on if they are coated or painted, which could block the far infrared.
