RFID Scanner Issue

Background:

• We have a client with a warehouse full of tools they need to track.
• He has an Alienware RFID SCanner with four antennas.
• Two antennas are inside the warehouse, and two are outside.
• Hundreds of Tools in the warehouse are tagged with RFID tags.
• All 30 employees have name badges with RFID tags in them.
• I have written all the software to track the tools
• The RFID tag information is being sent to the local address:

• You can view this information stream at the remote address:

• The Antennas are labels (0, 1, 2, and 3). O + 3 are inside, and 1 + 2 are outside.

The Problem:

• The scanner can only report ~20 RFID tags per "cycle".
  We can set that cycle from 1 second and up..
• We can easily position and turn, and adjust the scanners in any way reccommended
• We can adjust the power of each scanner. From 316 to 156.
• We can remotely make changes to the Alien interface by remoting into their server.

The Goal:

• We Only need it to report RFID tags as they pass from the inside to the outside, or vice-versa. NOT when they are just sitting in the warehouse. Only when they cross the threshold.

Some of the Settings we are unsure what to set to:

• Antenna Read Power (each of 4): 156 - 316
• Antenna Write Power (each of 4): 156 - 316
• AntennaSequence (0 1 2 3)
• RFModulation (DRM, STD, HS, 25M4, 12M4, 06M4, 25FM0, 12FM0, 06FM0, 25M2, 12M2, or 06M2).
  We have NO idea what these are.
• Many Tag Acquisition Parameters
• AutoAction
• AutoWaitOutput
• NotifyTrigger
• NotifyTime(How often the Tag list is sent. in Seconds)
• NotifyKeepAliveTime
• NotifyInclude

Additional Info:

• We are open to making any changes suggested in this interface, as we can easily revert them.
• To output ALL the Alien settings, use the "i" command in the Command Line (Console).
• Manuals can be Found Here
• How can we focus the signal? A Faraday Cage? Shielding? Anything works.
