Popular Vote
Updated 3 years ago
Tomorrow I can hear the Conservative supporters complaining:
"We won the popular vote, we should have gotten more control!"Though if we had proportional representation:
LIB: Who won 157 Seats with 33.1%. Would have won 112 -- 45 fewer.
CON: Who won 121 Seats with 34.4%. Would have won 116 -- 5 fewer.
QUE: Who won 32 Seats with 7.7%. Would have won 26 -- 6 fewer.
And THEN!:
NDP: Who won 24 Seats with 15.9%. Would have won 54 -- 30 MORE.
GRE: Who won 3 Seats with 6.5%. Would have won 22 -- 19 MORE.
IND: Who won 1 Seats with 0.4%. Would have won 1 -- 0 MORE.
PPC: Who won 0 Seats with 1.6%. Would have won 5 -- 5 MORE.
