Two Baby Books I wrote my Nieces, Lucy & Tessa:
'My Cool Uncle Adam' and 'Bosco the Doggy'.
For Book #3, It was suggested something about Transportation.

Book #3: Planes Trains and Automobiles

The Title of this book is "Planes Trains and Automobiles".
It is also the title on old [1987] movie about two Strangers forced to go on a roadtrip across the United States, and all the misfotrune they had.
It starred John Candy & Steve Martin.

Adam works on car engines.

Some cars are just for playing, and made of out plastic. You use them in the yard, and parks.
As children at Disneyland, Your Mom and Uncle Adam Rode in Plastic Cars.

Big cities have lots of roads--Small towns might have only one road.

You can take a Ferry to Vancouver.

Or, you can ride the Skytrain.

Lucy is in Japan on snow train.

There is a highway that runs ALL THE way across Canada!
Called the Trans Canada Highway. You live near the beginning of it.

A secret agent in movies named James Bond used to drive sports cars like this.

When you are 16, Uncle Adam and your Dad will teach you how to drive.

A cruise ship is a very big boat, that you sleep, eat and relax on.
In 2019, Lucy and Tessa went on cruise to Alaska with Nana, Rolands, Auntie Ann, and Uncle Adam.

We are a bike riding family.

Airports can be very busy. You should hold an adults can so you don't get lost. This is a model Train station in Japan made of Lego.

Some times travelling can be long and boring. You may fall asleep.

Rides like this are at the fair, or theme park. As you grow older, you can ride bigger, and faster rides.

A Canoe can hold many people, and you all paddle at the same time. They say "Stroke, Stroke, Stroke".

This was mommy's car when she was in university. One day in 2011, she got into a car accident, and was hurt. That is why it is important to always wear a seatlbelt, and follow the rules of the road.

A good way to get around the city safely is on a Bike trial. The Galloping Goose, and E&N Trails are in Victoria.

When it is snowing, you can ride a sled down a hill, or get pulled by your sister.

This Boat is called a Kayak. You have been riding in one since you were very young.

Sometimes it is fine to pretend to drive, but you must be careful

Sometimes we make Dad tow all our bikes and toys in a cart.

When we travelled to Finland, we borrowed the Car from the family who's house we stayed in.

When Biking, Wear a Helmet
When Boating, Wear a Life Jacket
Crosswalks: Stop, Look, And Cross
Wait for cars to stop.
Hold an adult's hand.
Know Your Signals.
Be Seen, Bright Clothing.
Always Wear Seatbelts.
Always Use Sidewalks.
Never Play in a Parking Lot.
Never Run Onto the Road.
Never Cross Road At Bends.
Pay Attention -- Listen.
