The Plan:
The now-real Trump Presidency has me scared shitless.
Unless he makes major motions to back-pedal all the hate, fear, and dangerous stupidity, I need to have a back up plan.
I love Canada! But we are too close to the border, and he is too bat-shit crazy.
I have seen way too many (real)movies about people trapped in war, and always thought "Why didn't they leave?".
This is ONLY a backup plan, in case it gets to 1930's Germany levels.
If I am (hopefully) over reacting, it would be a great place to visit.
Option: My Grandparents were each of Irish, Scottish, English and German Decent. (both Parents born in Canada) Does that help?.

- Allowing my Dog
- Geographically far from any conflict zones
- Ideally English Speaking
- Safe, Low Crime.
Tip:
- Try Commonwealth Countries
- Be sure to say you are Canadian! People love Canadians, and often have back doors to get through easier
