Darlana gave a Speech at the opening Ceremonies!
Darlana, Maxine, Lucy, Adam and Bosco made it in the Saanich News!
Rick' Birthday is Sept 21st, but that will be too cold to play.

We would like to invite you and your family to a fun day at the Baseball Park to celebrate Rick.
Saturday, September 8th, 2018 @ 11am-3pm
Ambassador / Lakehill Park (4148 Borden St).
We apologize for the late-notice.
We are remembering all the love and good times we had.
I invite you to join us for Ricks celebratory softball and games afternoon.
Food, Games, Friends, Family and Baseball!!
We will play with "Nanaimo Tournament Rules" Softball. I.e. all 10 player bat each inning, no matter what
Bring any lawn chairs / blanket / balls / bats / gloves / jerseys / uniforms you have.
We will have Lawn Games (croquet) and silly games on the neighbouring field for non-ball players + kids.
We are looking for someone who can bring Bocce and bean Bag Toss etc.
We will have Access to the Bathrooms at the Major Diamond.
Kids and Pets Welcome!
Possibly a Home-Run Derby
We will wheel over a BBQ, with hotdog+veggie, chips and coolers with water+pop (No alcohol)
We are open to suggestions!

Notes:
It is a smaller field. So we will have to "punish" the big hitters somehow if they can easily hit the ball out of the park. I suggest making one of the kids run for them, or batting with the opposite hand.
Who can bring some Lawn Games (Croquet, Bocce etc)?.
Adam will bring ~10 of Rick's uniforms for the forgetful.
Possibly a Home-Run Derby at a specified time on the neighbouring (#1 / Major) diamond (it has a longer fence line)
