My Custom Couch Plan

A Custom Couch in Black Leather to perfectly fit my odd-shaped living room.
Should easily seat 6 to 8 when complete.

With Fridge, Cell Phone Chargers, Power Plug, Speakers, and Colored Lighting

Notes:

  • Lights in Cupholders
  • Lights in Arm + Under-butt Compartments. On Switch. with Hyraulics to hold them open
  • Speakers in Arm Rest
  • I have a expert-seamstress in mind to create the simple-seams + Pillows :)
  • Must have a 3/4" gap between floor and plywood for sweeping.
  • The Whole couch can be disassembled into 4 pieces of manageable size for moving

Questions:

  • Should I paint the exposed wood Black or Brown?
  • How do I inset Cup-holders into the Arm Rest?
  • Should I put a 45 degree angle behind the "L" corner, for a small shelf?
  • Is it possible to salvage the "fold-out bits" from my old Hide-a-Bed Couch?
  • Cool Design in Leather Backing? A Highlight-strip of some kind?
  • Detachable Ottoman??
  • Where can I inset L.E.D. Lights into this?
  • Cool Pillow Design. Im thinking black + Snake Skin. Paw Print Black+White?

  • Posts : (11 @ 31") & (6 @ 18")==~40 feet
  • Leather:(184" x 28") & (184" x 18")== ~9 metres
  • Leather Options: Glacier Vinyl ($12/metre) Marine Vinyl ($9/Metre) --Both UV Resistant and Very Strong
